  • Frontend audit

    You hand over the repo. I read it and tell you where the money is going: the crashes nobody logs, the release everyone waits on, the file the whole team routes around. Then what to fix first.

  • Design systems

    Shipped as a versioned npm package. Storybook for docs, semver for releases, migration guides when something breaks.

  • Complex design, built exactly

    Give me the comp the team flinched at. Layered composition, custom grids, type that has to land on the pixel.

    It ships looking like the file.

  • Motion and WebGL

    GSAP for the choreography, WebGL when the DOM cannot do it. The work is keeping it cheap enough for a phone.

  • Performance

    Profile first, then fix. Virtualized lists, tables and dropdowns once the data stops being polite. Sometimes the fix is behind the UI, in the API.

    4endpoints stitched client-side became 1 request per page.

  • Accessibility and RTL

    React Aria primitives, so keyboard and screen reader behaviour is there before anyone asks. Right to left, bidirectional text included.

A record label you walk around in

9 floors, 1 elevator, and a checkout that never leaves the building.

T-Pain's label, built as a building: 9 floors on an elevator directory, each one a room you drag to look around at full 360, with the things worth finding marked and clickable, like the dean's desk at Wiscansin University and the check-in counter in the lobby. The store is a floor of its own, so the merch sits in the world it belongs to. Built with the team at the agency; I took the front end and the interaction work.

A masterplan you can walk before it is built

A buyer picks the sector, the house and the floor before anyone drives out to see it.

A quarter of townhouses 15 minutes out of Kyiv, being sold before there was anything to visit, so the site had to do the walking for people. The centrepiece is a live plan of all 14 hectares: turn it through the seasons, drop the infrastructure layer to see the land on its own, pick a sector, then open the house inside it and step between its floors. Built with the team at the agency.

The work does the pitching

9 client projects on the wall before a single line of pitch.

A full-cycle agency's own shop window. Past the first screen it's the client work, tile after tile at full bleed: a seed catalogue, a grill, an industrial compressor, a streetwear shop. Then how the studio works, in 4 steps, and a form. I built the front end.

    Catching cancer earlier

    A clinical decision-support platform that helps GPs in UK practices catch cancer earlier. I joined at the early startup stage, part-time next to SoftServe, and went full-time in 2020. I worked straight with the CTO and product owners and built its front end from scratch.

    Half a form, already known

    The piece I'm proudest of is the referral module. GPs filled referral forms in by hand, and about half of every form was stuff the system already knew. So I pulled it from the practice's records and prefilled it, and the doctor's time went to the part only a doctor can write.

    Clinicians were the bug report

    Early on, we found out about a crash when a clinician phoned support. So I set up testing from nothing, moved us to TypeScript without pausing features, and built error reporting that tells the team before anyone has to call: every crash went to Rollbar, pinged Slack and opened a support ticket by itself.

    Room to grow

    The company wanted to hire, and one big codebase was slowing every release. I split it into micro-frontends by domain, and a whole new team joined while the split was still in flight. I interviewed, onboarded and mentored the developers who came in.

    Without waiting on design

    Features often got built without mockups. So I made a design system the teams could put screens together from, and a separate app where each customer sets up its own patient workflow, no engineer and no release needed.

    Farmers Edge

    SoftServe is an outsourcing company, and one of my projects there was Farmers Edge: a platform farmers use to predict their yield, check how fertile their soil is and pick the best crop to plant. I built modules and features across it in React and TypeScript.

    Right to left, and more than one brand

    On another project I added right-to-left support to the whole app, with mirrored layouts and text that runs both ways, and multi-brand theming, so the same components could ship under another brand's look.

    Teaching

    I reviewed code, worked through the whole Scrum cycle with product owners, QA and the back end, and mentored the trainees coming up behind me.

    A small studio

    A creative agency in Rivne, 5 people, 3 of us technical. We built custom websites for businesses across Ukraine: landing pages, catalogs, online shops.

    Built by hand

    I was the frontend developer. Designs came in as PSD files and I built them out: TypeScript and jQuery, Twig templates, Stylus and Sass written in BEM, bundled with Gulp, Webpack and PostCSS.

    One app, one store

    And one mobile app, for a real-estate client, in Ionic and Angular. I shipped it to the App Store myself.
